PORTLAND, OR – January 20, 2012 — PQMRA is sending a strong message their club will be more than ready to host the 2012 Western Grands as they unveil a rockin' new web site at www.portlandqma.com that includes detailed information about the 2012 Western Grands.
With the goal of creating a leading web site solution within QMA, Portland team members secured a sponsored partnership with the premier, digital creative agency Hybrid Industries. Owner Jared Cooper set the stage early on in conversations by developing an outstanding design and user friendly solution based on not only what his team knew about quarter midgets, but their personal passion for racing.
"Our team loves racing and currently works closely with several drivers throughout the Northwest promoting their programs," said Owner Jared Cooper. "Working with PQMRA is a great extension of the direction we envision for our business within the sport of racing and we are excited to be part of their team."
In August 2011, Hybrid Industries also developed a cutting edge video of images captured from Portland's Region 9 race in August 2011 – a video that has since been viewed by thousands of people around the world and offers an energizing look at quarter midget racing.
In addition to ensuring people are provided with the most current information, drivers competing in the 2012 Western Grands will also have their profiles featured on the new PQMRA web site.
Spectators can get a glimpse of local drivers in action before the 2012 Western Grands on June 7-8 when PQMRA hosts the States Races for Region 9, and again on July 7-8 when the club hosts the 3rd leg of the Region 9 Series – a 6 event championship series that attracts drivers from Washington, Oregon and Canada. Races will be held at PQMRA's home track located within Alpenrose Dairy; the only track within the quarter midget association considered the little brother to NASCAR's Bristol track as it offers a 270 degree view for spectators to take in the action from above the actual track. Parking and attendance of any PQMRA event is free to all spectators.
